We have been coming to Afato Medical Regency Urgent Care for decades as a family with four now grown sons! We have always been well taken care of and given the time and attention our medical issues needed, plus wise counsel from both Dr. Afato and Dr. Beiler, who retired. If you are looking for Doctors you can trust, you need look no further. We thank the Doctors and their excellent and caring staff for all of your faithful years of service!

I have been coming to your office for over 10 years over the years, Craig Rhoades, Maqsud Dean, Lindsey Agolia and recently Dr. Afato have taken excellent care of me. I have never sought out a singular Doctor because the care here has been fantastic.
Make an appointment or walk in and you are greeted with a welcoming smile from the staff, after weighing in and getting the BP checked you are greeted by a doctor that takes the time you need to explain whats going on and possible treatments. They have a great old school way of treating the patients. Thank you for the outstanding care you have provided me and in the years to come.

Greetings. I am a patient with Dr. Agolia. First and foremost I would like to stress that medically, I am a very complicated patient and unfortunately, right now, I am also the patient that no doctor wants.
Over the years, I have gone from doctor to doctor and have always fallen short of finding an excellent provider that I feel comfortable with, that I can advocate for myself with, finding someone who will listen through and through, and finding someone who I can make decisions with, together. When I was at my lowest of low, knowing that I needed a new doctor but reluctant to start fresh and go through the motions of establishing care with a new provider all over again, I found Dr. Agolia at, what I felt, would be my last ditch effort at trying to get to the bottom of my medical issues.
Dr. Agolia has been nothing short of a life saver. The entire practice as a whole, is truly an asset, not only to patients, but as someone who has been to several doctors in the area, Dr. Afto’s practice is truly a gem for medical care for our community.
To my surprise, Regency Urgent care offers primary care services. When you go to your first appointment, you can expect to be greeted with pleasant and personable staff who do their best to meet your needs. The office is spotless and other patients who are waiting to be seen, have a friendly and personable appeal.
The practice, alone, has a very welcoming atmosphere that brings much comfort to those who are truly suffering, at least, this is my personal experience.
The wait time to actually be seen is quite favorable. I would say the longest I had to wait was, maybe, 30 minutes, but Dr. Agolia, herself, spends a good 30 minutes with me and probably, even, some times longer, depending on what’s going on.
The nurses and medical assistants are very friendly and pleasant. They let you how your doing vitally and they take note of every concern you might have to prepare your visit for the doctor. They have always treated me with the utmost compassion and with an extremely caring nature, which has helped me feel even more comfortable.
I think, on a personal level, I have always suffered with “white coat syndrome,” which is defined as someone who experiences extreme anxiety and sometimes raised blood pressure that spikes when a person sees the doctor. (Kinda funny, I know, but it’s true.) This is derived from all of the unpleasant and almost traumatizing experiences I have had with other physicians in the past, I can honestly say, Dr. Agolia has taken the time to develop what I would consider to be a wonderful relationship with me, just in the short time I have been with her, that I don’t suffer those “white coat” anxieties anymore.
When it comes to Dr. Agolia, herself, I can honestly say, I have not had or experienced such excellent care in my life. She listens, we make decisions together, she has the utmost compassion and is very caring and shows concern when it comes to my particular case. She is very personable. I feel like I can talk to her which is the biggest thing for me. She’s one of the most honest and straight forward doctors I have ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with and she truly makes me feel at ease. If she says not to worry, I don’t worry. I actually trust her more than you know. I could go on and on about how grateful I am for her, how wonderful she truly is, and what an asset she is, not only to me, to her current place of practice, but to the community. For the first time, I feel like a person and a patient, rather than a customer.
Dr. Agolia puts referrals through, immediately to the specialists that I need to be seen by and their referral specialist is quite diligent and friendly. I recently ran into a complication with one of my referrals and had to be sent somewhere else, which I knew would create more work for them on their end, and they acted as if it wasn’t an inconvenience in the least.
I just wanted to take this time to let you know, if you are someone who is considering becoming a patient of this practice, that you are truly in good hands. Their entire team is absolutely fabulous and I finally feel like I have found my doctor. A doctor I will stay with until I am old and gray. I have never been more pleased with a doctor and a practice than I am with Dr. Agolia and Dr. Afato’s medical practice.
It’s also my understanding that they do everything from urgent care, primary care, and work related testing. They treat you as a whole person and they truly have your best interest in mind, at least that is what I am experiencing with Dr. Agolia.
I would encourage anyone and everyone who needs any type of urgent services, primary care or work related testing to give Dr. Afato’s practice a try. I really think you will be just as pleased as I am. Again, I can’t stress enough what an asset they are to this community and for those who need excellent medical care.
Thank you for your time and attention.

I wanted to change doctors, and was lucky enough to find Lindsay Agolia, MD. She came in, sat down and looked me in the eyes, and talked to me like I was a person that mattered. That was such a DIFFERENT experience I had with my last doctor. I am thrilled to be her patient and know I will get decent care. And, such nice office staff also. I thought this kind of medical care was a thing of the past!

I have been coming to your office for five years – over those years, Craig Rhoades, Maqsud Dean and recently Dr. Afato have taken excellent care of me. After I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes last year, they helped me lose weight and now I am controlling my levels with diet, exercise and one medication. Thank you for the outstanding care you have provided me!

I brought my partner into the Urgent Care in July. Ken Bivins examined him and would not let him leave except for in a wheel chair with orders to take him right away to Rideout Emergency. I wanted to thank you, for that is the day he was diagnosed with lung cancer. The cancer was 4.5cm with plural effusion. The fluid also contained the cancer cells adenocarcinoma. Good news, we became children of God right away through a calling. After the second chemo treatment the cancer measured 2cm. The first two thorantesis produced 4 liters of fluid – about 3 weeks apart. The 3rd produced only 1 pint.
We both want to thank you for saving his life and mine. May God bless and keep you forever.

I recently transfered over to Afato Medical Group for my ongoing healthcare. I made the decision to have Craig Rhoades PA be my healthcare provider. My visits were comfortable and I felt he was very thorough in assessing my health issues. Craig listened to my concerns and responded in very affirming and helpful ways. The clinic has a welcoming and calming presence. The staff is kind and available to help! Thanks for being here for our community.

This past week I used your services and was extremely pleased, even though the circumstances were not the greatest. From Monday night on through this whole week you have all shown extreme care and professionalism. Dr. Dean did a superb job in fixing my face and both Ken and Craig followed up well. Thank you all for all you did for me. My husband and I were totally impressed with you and should the need arise again, we will not hesitate to contact you.

I believe that Afato Medical is one of the most conscientious medical family practices in this area. we had tried different medical practices in this area before we found Dr Afato’s office. My wife and I have used their services for the last 8 or 9 years. We have found them to be good listeners. I can say that we have had very good service with Afato Medical.

Dear Craig –
Thank you for always taking care of me. You are also a good doctor because you help other people. Pretty much every one loves you. I think you are the best doctor in the world! Everyone loves you. You are also a good doctor because you are so nice. You are such a good doctor because you always know what to do. You never say I don’t know what’s wrong go home. You always know if I am sick. You tell my mom what to do. So you make everyone better by telling them what will help them.
